Nazar Yasin has built and backed multi-billion-dollar technology ventures around the world - as an entrepreneur and as an investor with firms like Rise Capital, Tiger Global, and Goldman Sachs.
His journey has convinced him of the vital role that purpose plays in driving meaningful impact. As an early pioneer of the "profits with purpose" movement, his current focus is answering a pressing question: how do we strengthen human purpose in the age of AI?
Nazar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sol, the #1 spiritual and mental health app in the United States, which helps people discover and deepen their own sense of purpose. He is also the Founder of Rise Capital, where he invests in purpose-driven unicorns across emerging markets, fueling innovation and social progress.
His achievements have been recognized with Northwestern University’s Distinguished Entrepreneur Award in 2017 - an honor previously awarded to leaders including Governor J. B. Pritzker, Chuck Templeton (Founder of OpenTable), and Randall Kaplan (Co-Founder of Akamai).
Nazar holds an engineering degree from Georgia Tech, a JD from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
